Rating: 5 out of 5.

Season 1: In 2019, Amber (wife #2) escapes from her husband Ben after he threatens to kill his mistress Avery and first wife Athena. Just a few weeks prior she discovers the man she married was not who she thought he was at all. The story rewinds back to 2007 and we learn all about his relationship with Athena (wife #1) and the trials and tribulations that led to their divorce. Ben pitted the women against each other for years as he kept his lies hidden. By the end of season one, Amber and Athena – along with several of Ben’s many girlfriends – discover the unimaginable and together began putting the pieces together.

Season 2: Going ‘undercover’ reveals even more craziness! After being backstabbed by one of Ben’s many girlfriends, they power on to protect Athena’s young daughter from her abusive father. When the unimaginable happens and a close family member is murdered due to an act of domestic violence, the women know that it’s time to share their story to help protect other women – Ex-Wives Undercover was born. Of course, Ben wasn’t going down easy and they faced even more obstacles.

Season 3: Second Chances
There’s nothing – or nobody – like home, right? Well, that’s what Alexis thought the day her beloved bestie from her hometown reached out after more than 25 years! Finding themselves both divorced…a second chance at love was just the happy ending she longed for.  And why not? It worked for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez! The romance took off at lightning speed and before she knew it, she was packing up her things and moving across country…only to come face-to-face with HUGE red flags! Stuck and vulnerable with no job, no friends and mounting suspicions, Alexis took matters into her own hands and went FBI-agent to uncover the REAL truth!

Season 4: Double Trouble
Sadie grew up in a picture-perfect family…or so everybody thought. What lied beneath was a deep dark family secret that nobody knew about – leaving scars that would affect everybody for years to come. After meeting Justin on vacation and moving to be with him – his true colors emerged. His Jekyll and Hyde personality left Sadie feeling constantly on edge but when things turned violent, would it be enough for Sadie to leave and protect herself and children? Stayed tuned for the surprising twist at the end that even Amber and Athena weren’t prepared for.

Season 5: Falling for a Felon
Ana grew up wanting to be invisible. Nobody noticed her including her crush Ted, the popular athlete with coal black hair and twinkling blue eyes. So, when Teddy boy showed up 30 years later, she couldn’t believe it. Emails and phone calls led to a romantic beach getaway. By the end of the weekend she was in love – desperately, totally, fully in love. The rest of the story is one so unbelievable, so fantastical, only another person who has lived it could possibly understand. Lies, prison, a wife, a fully fabricated world, NPD diagnosis by the FBI, sex workers, drug problems and so much more. And guess what? Ana is a therapist. If it can happen to her than it can happen to anyone.
