During each episode we warn that the events our listeners hear will only get crazier and even more unbelievable as we went on. Some may have believed us, and others probably thought to themselves, “how the fu*k could this get any more crazy? Well, for those of you who are all caught up, I think we can agree that we are all equally in complete disbelief of the things that Ben has done and gotten away with. With that said, lets recap some of the unbelievable, jaw dropping lies and busts that Amber and I have had the displeasure to be apart of.

10. Ben Knew Where Athena Lived Without Her Giving Him Her Address. Ben showed up at Athena’s house unannounced – while she was sick – after only meeting her once prior. What’s so crazy about that? How about the fact that she never gave him her address. Ben was obviously trying to make sure she really was home and not lying to him.

9. Ben Lied About His Education – Claiming to Have a Ph.D. and Other College Degrees. From being an architect to psychologist, Ben goes as far as to print off, frame and showcase his fake college diplomas for the women he’s dating and/or married. He also lies about his past and present careers, marital and financial status…all in an effort to fool Amber, Athena and the multiple other woman.

8. Ben Lies About Building a Home in Order to Move In With Athena and Then Disappears. Ben asked Athena if he could move in with her for a few weeks while his home was finished being built in Fremont. Soon, she discovers the house Ben was allegedly building was a big ol’ lie. After a final confrontation, Ben agreed to take Athena to see the house the following day. But, when she returned home, she discovered that he took all of his belongings and left a “Dear John” style letter on the fireplace mantle explaining that he really didn’t love her and he had been lying the entire time.

7. Ben Lied and Told Amber He Was Drugged and Raped. On his second date with Amber, Ben told her he was drugged and raped by a woman named Daisy. As a result, Ben said they conceived baby Opal. He went on to explain that she pled guilty, went to jail for six months and he didn’t owe child support.

6. Athena Received An Anonymous Email Stating Ben Had Secretly Fathered a Baby Girl, Opal. Still in the honeymoon dating phase with Ben, Athena received an anonymous email telling her that Ben had gotten a woman pregnant and that she had just had the baby a few weeks prior. Without Ben knowing, Athena finds the woman and sends her all of Ben’s information to make sure that he gets served with paternity and child support paperwork.

5. Ben Was Secretly Embezzling Money From His Employer and Was Charged With 13 Counts of Felony Theft. While Ben was married to Amber, he was secretly supporting his multiple lives with other woman by stealing thousands and thousands of dollars from his employer.

4. Ben Pretended To Be Chris and Athena On A Parenting App – Messaging Amber And Himself On Their Behalf For Over A YEAR! Ben created two email addresses for Athena and Chris and then added them to a parenting communication app they knew nothing about. With Ben and Amber already on there, Ben began a year-long communication thread with himself and Amber pretending to be Athena and Chris.

3. Ben Faked Cancer. On multiple occasions Ben said he had cancer – from Leukemia to Melanoma to Lung Cancer – and used fake documents and fake diagnoses to manipulate women.

2. It’s Raining Mistresses. Amber and Athena discovered that Ben had brainwashed Sydney into lying to them as well as multiple other woman, so that her dad wouldn’t get caught having simultaneous affairs. Sydney also had three different bedrooms in three different homes. Between the handful of women who reached out to us and the women we found out about on our own, we believe Ben’s victim count has to be in the high 20’s.

1. Avery Becomes a Fallen Angel. After the women come together to support one another and help protect Sydney from her own father, Avery betrays them by taking Ben back. She then gave Ben the “Charlies Angel’s” group text thread with all of their private messages to use in court to battle Athena and Amber for the next 3 years, to get a lesser sentence during his domestic violence hearing and overturn Athena’s revised parenting plan to protect their daughter.
